Executive Director Lorinda Strang and General Manager Joanna Journet accepted the Business Leadership Award at the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Excellence Awards on April 25th.
The Orchard Recovery Center not only puts the heart into the science of addiction recovery, they are a business that puts their heart and passion back into their community.
The centre is the largest employer on Bowen Island. Executive Director Lorinda Strang, who accepted her Award with Manager Joanna Journet, ensures that the Orchard is a responsible and responsive community partner to other organizations. She oversees all daily operations of the Orchard and ensures consistent, high caliber treatment. Their goal is for clients to leave the Orchard ready to live life feeling emotionally strong, personally accountable and excited about their ongoing recovery.
