Rachel was 16 when she started cycling to rehabilitate after a ski racing accident. She fell in love with the sport, and before long was cycling competitively representing BC at the Canada Summer Games, Western Canada Summer Games, senior and junior Road and Track Nationals as well as in Europe with amateur Dutch and Belgian teams.
In 2011 Rachel certified as a NCCP cycling coach and is the Program Director for the Burnaby Velodrome. Her passion for fitness, sport and all things athletic is backed academically with a degree in Kinesiology from UBC, and more recently with a Personal training Certification with BCRPA.
She excels at building inspiring, tailor-made workouts designed to deliver results using agility, balance, strength training and cardiovascular endurance. In her spare time Rachel is a support worker and program leader for the mentally and physically disabled.
