Nanette Diaz holds a Master’s Degree (MA) in Health Leadership from Royal Roads University, and is a certified Addiction Counsellor (CCAC) through the Canadian Addiction Certification Federation. She brings a rich blend of expertise and compassion to her role at Orchard Recovery Center, specifically within our Family Program. With additional certification as a Spiritual Healer and training in Hatha and Kundalini Yoga, Nanette’s approach integrates physical and spiritual wellness into the recovery process. Her experience working alongside Dr. Gabor Mate and Sat Dharam Kaur in the Beyond Addiction program further enriches her holistic approach to healing.
Nanette is an active member of the board of directors of the Alano Club of Vancouver, helping create a range of programs and services for those pursuing recovery from addiction, such as art therapy, meditation, recovery coaching, peer support, and work experience programs. Her work extends to supporting marginalized individuals and providing alternative legal and rehabilitation solutions through the Drug Court Team of Vancouver.
Nanette is passionate about utilizing a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model of care, employing a client-centered holistic strategy that fosters mental, physical, and spiritual health. Her dedication to helping clients and their families at Orchard Recovery Center is rooted in a blend of professional expertise, personal lived experience in recovery, and a genuine commitment to healing the pain of addiction, making her a valuable and approachable resource for those seeking recovery.
